AMI FOREST SCHOOL

Our Educational Model

AMI DONATE

A Scripture-Based Foundation

As part of the Advent Mission Institute, our K–4 Forest School exists to develop Christ-centered leaders by returning to the historic principles of true education. We believe that true education is the harmonious development of the physical, mental, and spiritual powers. Our curriculum is built firmly on the authority of Scripture and the profound lessons found in God's second book: nature.

Education at AMI is not a department—it is an extension of our mission. Every lesson, every outdoor excursion, and every act of practical labor is designed to point the student toward the Author of all wisdom and knowledge.

Three Pillars of True Education

  • Physical — Vigorous outdoor activity, practical labor, and hands-on agricultural skills build healthy, capable bodies for a lifetime of service.
  • Mental — Rigorous, Bible-based instruction trains students to think independently, reason from evidence, and become thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others' thoughts.
  • Spiritual — Daily immersion in Scripture, prayer, and the natural world nurtures a personal, unshakeable relationship with God as the foundation for everything else.

Creation-Based Learning

Students exploring God's creation in nature

We believe the outdoors is the ideal environment for shaping young minds. Rather than confining students to traditional, four-walled classrooms, our students spend significant portions of their day immersed in God's creation.

This consistent exposure to the natural world protects the innocence of childhood, fosters a deep reverence for the Creator, and grounds students in a biblical worldview that no secular curriculum can offer.

The forests, fields, and gardens of Camp Betz become living textbooks — each day offering lessons in biology, stewardship, patience, and the character of the One who spoke the world into existence.

Raising Leaders for the Mission

Our goal extends far beyond standard academic achievement. We are equipping the next generation to be catalysts for church renewal and whole-gospel evangelism. By combining rigorous, Bible-based instruction with the daily realities of outdoor learning, we prepare students to navigate the world with grace, truth, and unshakeable spiritual commitment.

Every student who graduates from AMI K-4 Forest School leaves not only academically prepared, but spiritually equipped to carry the Advent message to their family, their community, and the world.
