Partnering with Families
We view education as a collaborative partnership between the school, the home, and the church. Because our Scripture-based, outdoor learning environment is unique, enrollment space is intentionally limited to ensure we can maintain a culture of strong relationships and individualized mentorship.
We welcome families who share our commitment to Christ-centered education and who are ready to partner actively in the life and mission of the school. The admissions process is designed to help both the family and the school confirm that this is the right fit for your child.

Homeschool Co-op
For the 2026–2027 school year, the AMI Forest School partners with homeschooling families through a weekly Co-op that brings students together for Scripture-based, hands-on learning in nature. The Co-op meets on Fridays — “Forest Fridays” — from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., except on field-trip days, which may run longer, so participants should anticipate an extended day. Enrollment is first come, first served with a limited number of spots, so we encourage families to register early.
Before You Register
- All school-age children (6 years and older) who take part must be registered and enrolled in the program.
- Registration is a yearlong commitment for the full 2026–2027 school year.
- Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and enrollment is capped, so early registration is encouraged.
- All field-trip and co-op participation fees are included in the annual co-op fee unless otherwise indicated.
- Any child under six years of age accompanying a parent on a co-op day must remain under the direct supervision and responsibility of that parent at all times. An indemnity waiver is required for each accompanying child (completed as part of the registration form).

Special Education Notice
AMI Forest School is committed to providing a high-quality education to a diverse student body. However, as an independent institution, we are not equipped with the specialized staff, facilities, or resources required to provide a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) as defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). While we strive to support students with mild learning differences, we cannot accommodate students requiring intensive special education services, 1-to-1 aides, or highly modified curricula. Admission is granted based on our ability to meet a student's educational needs within our existing program.
